Dr. Elisa Baum, DACM, LAc
Microcosm Medicine was birthed from a calling to serve as a lantern within the shadowscapes we are traversing in this current lifetime. We are increasingly becoming unwell, burnt-out, weary and further separated from the natural world, ourselves + each other. We are struggling to digest + integrate all that we experience + take in and to be present both in our bodies + relationally. These imbalances of our spirits + emotions show up in the physical body as manifestations of dis-ease.
One of my favorite teachers would often repeat, “acupuncture is time and space medicine.” And so it is. It would be my honor to meet you at the quantum altar of time and collaborate with curiosity + compassion to rewind + remember. Giving your inner stories + programs a place to be seen and then the opportunity to transform + transmute; tapping into the infinite vastness of unbound possibility. Free.
As I listen with all of my senses, along with what I channel, I begin to weave. Let’s sit together at the cosmic loom and liberate the threads of your unique tapestry to take new form.
I work with patterns. Ones spinning in this lifetime and often carried with us from long, long ago; ancestrally passed + held via the conduit of our blood. I lovingly see where you are and need the most support. Acupuncture is my medium + the elements are my guides.
Everything is medicine; good + bad. It can make you sick, it can make you well. We serve our medicine to both ourselves and the world around us at every conscious moment of every day. And with that comes great responsibility + an invitation to stay in our integrity.
With the support of the elements both within + without and the transformative spirit of the points, let’s raise + amplify the frequency of your medicine and reunite you, with you. And all that you came here to do.

VISION
Several years ago, I entered into communication with a small stand of towering cedar trees. A forest fire was burning nearby and I knelt before them under the crimson sky, giving them offerings and cried. They began to say over and over again, “remember, remember, remember, re-member, member...”
Do you remember?
Microcosm Medicine is for all freedom-loving people who remember the beat of our heart’s song; “I am one.” It’s for those whose spirits are passionately ablaze for a world where no human is illegal and all people are free.
From the River to the Sea.
The systems of oppression from which we dwell alongside, thrive upon our dysregulated chaos. What they fear, is collective coherence.
Let’s take excellent care of ourselves so we can keep showing up for each other + acting for a better world that we must continue to believe is p o s s i b l e .
The cultivation of love for ourselves is the portal that collapses separateness, illuminating our sameness. It ripples and reunites + unifies us with presence, one another, the Earth, the cosmos and the expansiveness of all that is and has ever been; one.

My deepest gratitude to this profoundly potent + beautiful medicine that comes from a culture + lineages that are not my own. I vow to hold it with deep reverence and to do what I believe is asked of all medicines - to use + share it with the utmost integrity.
